OUR STORY

Plantz Central started as a plant brokerage company in 2017.  Owner Karl Jaacks has over 20 years of experience in landscape design, installation, and site management experience in corporate and domestic environments. 

What started out as a plant broker service based in Joburg 7 years ago, has bloomed into a Landscape consultancy and garden staff training service for lodges in and around the beautiful tourist town of Hoedspruit Limpopo.

Plantz Central has also made a name for itself in the rubberizing, artificial turf, irrigation and the mini water park arena at local establishments such as The Radisson Safari Hotel and Bosveld Centre amongst others.

In 2023 saw Tracy join the team as an Indoor Plant consultant, bringing the outdoors inside to beautifying lodges, shops and homes, completing our holistic approach to landscaping.

 “I like to focus on water-wise options.  With the recent drought and water restrictions in place - there has been a keen focus on planting to avoid excessive consumption and maintenance costs” says Karl.  “We don't just focus our attention on the professionals and corporates - we extend our service offering bulk plants and consultancy services direct to consumers. We can guide keen gardening enthusiasts when choosing companion plants and general landscaping advice.”
